I have loved meeting all of the people living on Pine Road. This story had such great pace, humour and lots of little things that kept me guessing and thinking about as I was reading. I loved the twists and turns throughout and only worked out one big secret that was revealed near the end. This was really clever and I was pleasantly surprised that my instinct was correct.

This is a great character led book and as the story developed I loved learning more about all of the residents of Pine Road. Although the story focuses on the following three ladies, every single character’s personality shone through and the dramas they were facing were so true to life. Martha has recently moved to Pine Road with her two daughters and husband in sudden and mysterious circumstances. Robin has come back with her four year old son to live with her parents, vowing her troublesome ex is out of the picture for good and Edie is desperate for a baby with her perfect husband Daniel, and longs to be accepted by her Pine Road neighbours.

The friendships and dynamics were brilliant and I really felt like I was part of the gossip and drama. I loved the way some people were best friends and close allies and how they would see themselves at the top of the Pine Road hierarchy. The WhatsApp message threads interspersed throughout the book and the Easter treasure hunt scenes were particularly funny in demonstrating this. Some characters really showed their true colours! I really wish I could keep reading about this colourful community.

I also think Three Little Truths would work really well as a TV drama series. I think viewers would relate just as much as I have as a reader.
