I read Grace after Henry some time ago and really enjoyed it so was very pleased to find another Eithne Shortall novel. It did not disappoint. The story is a mix of light hearted and serious issues. It tells the story of what appears on the surface to be an ordinary street but there are many secrets. There is a WhatsApp group who keenly watch everything that happens . They're especially interested in the new family who have moved into the street.
There is also frequent mention of the rat problem. The three main characters each have problems and issues they find difficult to come to terms with.
There are several twists and surprises in the story. It has a good ending with everything sorted out nicely.
