I really enjoyed this book and was happy to receive an ARC from Reader's first and the publishers. The cover looked intriguing and the novel really drew me in right from the start. It was easy to read which made it hard to put down. I found it quite funny, and was well written. The characters of Pine Road were likeable and relatable, however as there are so many different characters it took a bit of time to get used to them all at first. The character's communicate via their What's app group which gives the novel a modern feel and again something you can relate too. The novel also has plenty of suspense with many twists and turns along the way.
I would recommended this book and will be looking forward to other books by Eithne Shortall.
