A bit of neighbourhood and family drama with a surprise around every corner, I really enjoyed this book. Just when I thought I had figured out how the storyline was going to continue, another surprise, shock or obstacle was thrown in the way. I got invested with some of the characters but others I could not figure out at all so it kept the intrigue going all throughout the book. I felt myself routing for some characters while hoping certain others would get a well deserved slap in the face as soon as possible. Then right before the end, things suddenly change completely again and everything is back up in the air, routing for some, feeling sorry for others. It was a bit tricky to keep up with the names at certain points but all in all I really enjoyed this book.
