I enjoyed this book, but not as much as I was expecting to. I'm not quite sure what it was, but somehow I never really felt connected to the characters, and found the the plot was inconsistent in places.
The book is based primarily on 3 women, all of whom live on Pine Road, and all of whom in their own ways are trying to fit it, yet not quite managing it. Chapters flip between their stories, which are all intertwined, and are interspersed by group what's app chats from other residents on the street, which I found annoying as I had to keep checking who was who....but maybe that was just me!
As I said I did enjoy reading this, just at times found it a little clunky feeling. I would read more by this author though.
