I really enjoyed this book. I wasn’t too sure at first as there was lots of characters mentioned all at once, but once I’d got through that it was a great read and it was easier than I thought to remember who was who.
The plot was great, it was a mystery that left me guessing until the last few chapters. But it was also funny in places, especially on the WhatsApp group messages. They were written as though a normal group of people would write them. The characters in the book were all very relatable, and I especially liked Carmel, she was hilarious without realising she was. I also live in a Close and can very much relate to the characters who aren’t keen on their nosy neighbours!! And this book also proves you never know what goes on behind closed doors.
The style of writing was great, the plot flowed nicely and there wasn’t any point in the book where something wasn’t happening.
Overall I loved this book, and I would recommend this book. Now I’m off to peer out my curtains at my neighbours!!
