A powerful introduction which promises an intriguing story.

I felt immediately engaged with this story and by the time I'd finished reading the opening pages I was eager to discover where the author has taken her characters. I anticipate lots of twists and turns in the developing plot, something which always adds a satisfactory dimension to any reading experience. The subject matter feels very important, as well as being topical, so I'm sure that reading the whole book will take me on a see-sawing emotional journey ... if I'm lucky enough to win a copy in the draw!
