The author is clearly drawing on her professional experience of education and mental health in making a young woman in care the focus of the book. The prologue is intriguing and draws the reader in and the opening chapters are compelling. Clearly you have a troubled child and a teacher with her own troubled past as well. I wonder how realistic the premise is though and if this might test credibility as the book progresses.
