Well written and fast paced, this was an exciting start to Kate Bradley's first novel. The tension is high from the start as we follow a teacher desperate to protect a vulnerable student from unknown assailants while battling the seeming indifference of the school and police. The mystery of what is going on with Destiny builds up well, and I'd be intrigued to read more.
