Being from the same local area as the author, I can picture the cliffs she describes at the beginning very clearly in my minds eye. The rest of the preview doesn't require local knowledge as the writing captivates you from the first words, drawing you in, and showing you exactly what she means as if it is being projected by a real teacher in class.
