If this is a debut novel I cannot wait to read more! From what started off as a concerned Teacher looking out for a vulnerable pupil to the plots twists that take place throughout I have been blown away. Destiny comes across as a delicate, vulnerable young person who has had a rough time in life but rather than it breaking her, she is determined to make a better life for herself - but not in the way you would expect of someone who has been through a harrowing early life experience. Jenni (Teacher) knows that Destiny is in trouble and makes the decision using her military experience to 'save' Destiny from the hands of the men trying to take her but little does she know that what she thinks is real and what is real are two very different things. Expecting Destiny to be grateful for being saved is somewhat misguided as the story unravels and you start to understand the truth. A gripping story from start to finish.
