The books straight away hooked me from the start. I loved the way Bradley presented the character, Jennie. As readers we can immediately receive some information about her past, and some are revealed later, which keep the reader engaged.
The book at most time is suspenseful and at times has a fast pace. I thoroughly enjoyed the endearing moments between Jennie and Destiny and almost resembles a mother and daughter relationship. These moments reflect their character, and portrays them realistic.
I would definitely recommend this book, as it explore elements of army life, solitude, kidnapping, abuse and trauma but how it is possible to find love at the end too.
