I really liked the idea behind this book, the teacher trying to protect the pupil, but I did not expect it to end how it did! I found Jenni’s condition and background really interesting and it added an extra depth to the story as I questioned wether she had just imagined it all or misread Destiny’s signal for help. I did begin to dislike Destiny when I discovered the truth behind her and what she was involved in. This is where the story took an unexpected twist! I was also shocked at the ending, but relieved that neither of them care to any harm. I felt it was written a little simply, but the voices of the multiple characters were written well and portrayed their different personalities well.
