This book grabs the reader from the get go setting a fast paced scene and making the main characters likeable and mysterious.
Jenni the teacher starts off with a great beginning reflecting on past events which are to be the main story talking about deaths, terrible consequences and lives changing forever. We then go back in time to hear the story narrated by Jenni (and perhaps Destiny as the book continues as chapters are dated and timed with who’s point of view the story is being told by. This style fits the story so well.
Destiny is the schoolgirl who seems to fear something outside of school that she won’t talk about. The first couple of chapters are action packed and left me desperate to know what takes place!
