This book had me hooked for the first half - and I couldn’t put it down. However the chapter in the premier inn, well and truly lost my interest and from then on I struggled. I have to admit I loved Jenni and her strong military back story and how independent she was. I loved George and Gary so much! However Destiny - she was awful, I honestly disliked her far too much. Then I didn’t like the varying perspectives and having to guess who did what and which account was right. I found bits rushed, some bits unrealistic - and the ending was just frustrating. It just ended! I think the ending is why I wouldn’t rate it 3 stars. It personally didn’t hit the mark for me, however I did like the character development and Jenni’s back story was gripping and raw - I would have rather heard about that, but I appreciate the concept of the plot.
