I loved this book, as there were so many plot twists which I did not see coming, right up until the last paragraph.
The story is told from three view points, Jenni Wales the teacher and ex-army personnel, Destiny her pupil and Aleksander, Destiny's boyfriend.
Following an incident at school Jenni believes Destiny, a child in state care is in danger and takes it upon herself to protect her. Little did she know it would totally change her life.
All of the characters were so well-written that they were totally believable as well as the actions they carried out. The plot is fast paced with lots of twists and turns, that it is a real page turner.
The only unanswered question - why didn't the police use the camera footage that Aleksander set up to film Gary?
