It was unputdownable
For some reason This book just kept getting bumped down the list of books to be read. However following Lockdown and lots more reading time I picked it up. Well, I can honestly say I wish I had picked it up sooner.
This story follows Jenni who is a secondary school teacher and one of her pupils Destiny. Jenni identifies Destiny as being vulnerable and makes it her mission to save Destiny at any cost.
I was honestly gripped by this book right from picking it up. It was so unputdownable and I didn’t guess the ending at all. It was the ultimate test as to how far Jenni would go for her pupil and I was so invested in the relationships. The story also centred around the UK care system with Destiny have been part of it for a number of years and it really added to understanding her character.
I would definitely recommend.
🌟🌟🌟🌟.5 stars for me.
