This book starts out really well and I became hooked rather quickly. The plot is intriguing and characters relatable. Destiny is a teenage girl who has been in care most of her life. Jenni is her teacher, whom takes Destiny....to keep her safe.
For me, as soon as Aleksander was introduced I quickly lost interest in the book and didn't like the way the story was unfolding. The third part of the book was skimmed through, just to get to the end really! I won't spoil it for anyone still reading, by revealing the ending. All I will say is that it was unexpected, maybe even strange.
I'd say overall that this was a book I had high hopes for, but it left me feeling disappointed and this will be one I'll not recommend reading. Sorry.
