Be warned – this book is totally additive!
An unusual story which is told through the voices of the different characters. It very cleverly develops the characters through their perspective of the situation, changing your perception of them as the novel progresses. It manages to achieve this seamlessly and without detracting, (in fact it adds to), the strong storyline.
Not only are the characters convincing, they are also very unique and do not fall into the stereotypes which often litter the pages of contemporary novels. The author also cleverly builds on the characters, so that the reader is challenged to reconsider their original opinion of them and where their sympathies lie.
I cannot recommend this book enough and cannot wait for her next novel.
