As soon as I picked this up I could not put it down. I was entranced with Jenni telling the story in the begining. Coming from care myself I knew all to well the dangers that could have been happening at home or what wars were being waged in Destiny's mind. I just could not put this down my heart was immediately in this story until the end.

Kate Bradley writes exceptionally well and grips the reader throughout the entire story. She makes you feel proud for Jenni standing up for Destiny. She makes you feel heart wrenching fear and emotional attachment to a young girl in need of safeguarding and she thoroughly keeps your heart racing to hope everything ends up okay. Delving further into the story you feel gross fear more for Destiny and extreme confusion with the brilliantly twisty tale.

It was a brilliant unputdownable book with many dark twists. I started getting huge mixed feelings for the characters further reading upon discovering more about Jenni and what Destiny was really up to with her little gang.

I wasn't expecting the last few chapters but it was nice to see the twists of Destiny a few years later and all the mystery surrounding it and new things being revealed to be truth right at the end.
