I really enjoyed reading this book. There was so much tension and it made me want to know more right from the first chapter. The pace throughout the whole thing is really good, changing when necessary and slowing right back down after the exciting parts when needed. Lots of tense moments that make you not want to stop reading all night because you just HAVE to know what happens next. It never gave away too much and kept me guessing right up until the end, and even then there were a lot of cliffhangers and things that weren't quite clear, though it just made it more mysterious. Tying up loose strings was done very well with the after-story from a different perspective, while still leaving plenty to the imagination or just the way the reader views or interprets the story and the different characters. I also liked how much or little background was provided about each of the characters.
