This is a very well written and fast paced book, with real, well written characters - in some cases, all too horribly real. The book kept me reading for hours at a time just because I cared enough about the characters to need to find out what happened. I liked the different perspectives from the two main characters with the odd view from the supporting others. the twists and turns kept coming and I had no idea how the ending might work out until I got there.
In a few places, this might be a little gory for some but these parts were not just gratuitous.
This is an excellent debut thriller that reads like a work from a much more experienced novelist and I look forward to many more books from this author.
