"Dark and twisted... not your cartoon 'Little Mermaid'!"

I was drawn to this book because I'm a huge fan of Sarah J. Maas and Leigh Bardugo, both epic fantasy writers with characters you immediately feel for. "That's HIGH company," I snorted, prepared to dismiss this title. But from the first sentence, I was HOOKED on Lira and her dark tale. I love a "baddie" I can hate and love in equal measure. I can't WAIT to read more of this book.
