This is a great read for someone wanted a quick fantasy book, the world building is light but detailed enough so you aren't lost. The romance is written really well as it isn't shoved in your face but you can still feel like it is there building up. The final battle at the end is written well and doesn't drag on for so long that you feel like it is going no-where. Overall I feel like this was a very well written book with great action and great characters. The only issue I had was the very last chapter that was set a few months in advance. I felt like this was unnecessary and that the reader is able to conclude how the characters move forward without having it spelt out to them. It felt like a very odd conclusion to such an amazing book. If I was to reread the book I am likely to avoid the last chapter and just finish the book earlier as I feel like that would have been a much better decision.
