Being a debut novel of Alexandra Christo I went into “To Kill A Kingdom” without too many expectations. I can honestly say how blown away I was by this masterpiece of a debut.
The world or shall I say worlds she created in this book we’re epic and fully realised. Both on land and under the sea in the realm of the sirens was just such detail and realism it made me feel like I was fully able to not only immerse myself in the world but fully go and visit both worlds in reality.
I was really drawn into the character of Lira. When it begins we see her flaws and her darkness as the Princes Bane but as the story continues to unravel the personal growth and development she goes through is so relatable and beautiful to see.
Highly recommend anyone and everyone to read this.
