This book was truly amazing! Firstly the cover art is absolutely stunning and the artwork on the pages were just as amazing so props to the artist for that! I really would have zoomed through this book if it weren’t for other priorities!!! The book is about two characters (Princess Lira of the Sirens and Prince Elian of Midas) and it switches between their perspectives which I always enjoy in a book! I feel like there aren’t enough books about sirens or maybe there are and I haven’t read them but I read this and loved it! I really hope I’m really hoping to read the whole book soon. Practically everyone giving a review has said it reminded them of the little mermaid and I have to agree! Apparently it’s a retelling which makes sense and I love darker retellings so I can’t wait to read the book in full. From what I’ve read alone, I strongly recommend this book.
