I'll just start this review with saying that I absolutely loved this book - every single aspect of it was incredible.
The story follows two main characters Lira and Elian - Lira being the most feared siren and Elian being the most famed siren killer. Two characters who are destined to be against each other who are forced to work together to achieve a common goal (I mean come on, who doesn't love the enemies-to-lovers-forced-proximity-trope??).
The writing itself was lovely and highly enjoyable to read throughout the book. Every character was infinitely different from one another and was lovable in every way and the difference in dynamics was great.
I loved the switching points of view from Lira to Elian and seeing how their internal monologues and thoughts and desires compared and contrasted to one another.
Last thing I've got to say - the fight scenes were all amazingly done. Especially the end fight - it was epic and definitely gave this story an incredible ending!
