Let me start by saying I honestly love this cover so much, it's just so beautiful and pleasing.
I have been on a mermaid/pirate fiction lately and this book definitely did not disappoint. I enjoyed the story-line and characters, even though the continuous banter between Lira and Elian got made me a little annoyed. The ending was a little confusing, and seemed rushed. I secretly shipped Lira and Kye more then I did the actual couple, they seemed to get along better. I've seen a lot of people say it takes a while to get into the book, but I highly disagree.
I think anyone who has an appreciation for classic books or even just enjoys reading books about mermaids or sea witches, or just books set in the sea would enjoy this book.
