‘To Kill a Kingdom’ is now one of my favorite books. So gripping I honestly just could not place it down. Book was actually quite floppy so easy to read without breaking the spine. Really enjoyed the plot. I love the fact ‘To Kill a Kingdom’ s lead protagonist is a female called Lira. She kills one of her own which to her and her people is something unmentionable as well as being considered unforgivable. Her mother the Sea Queen banishes her from the kingdom. The book is about how Lira the exiled princess lives outside her home. It follows her experiences as she grows. The writing in this book was fabulous and entertaining. This book had amazingly detailed characters which took no time for me to become emotionally attached to. I cried with them and I celebrated with them. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
