Ahhhh! Ok, I just started reading this and it has drawn me in immediately - I love fantasy books and this book is definitely meeting all the expectations! The world-building is intricate but not confusing, woven in perfectly so I fully understand what's going on. The characters are interesting so far, the dynamics in conversations clear and sensical.
The writing is beautiful, the adjectives used seem to build a fantastic world in my mind and I can clearly see the story in my mind's eye as it goes on. I love the names as well - they're interesting and different.
The storyline is good so far. This book has a very good start, it draws you in straight away and I already want to read the whole thing in one sitting! There aren't so many things going on that I am confused, but there's enough so that it is interesting.
