This beautifully dark retelling of the little mermaid had me hooked from the very beginning. It is wonderfully written and amazingly twisted in the best way possible.
The characters in this book aren’t always particularly likeable, but I think that is a good thing as it reminds people that not everyone is perfect and everyone has their faults. This is one of the first books I’ve read that include sirens And mermaids and I have to say that it did it disappoint. The characters different back stories are also one of the many reasons why this book kept me so hooked.
The cover of this book is also incredibly beautiful and looks good on a bookshelf which is also an added bonus to the experience that reading this book gives you.
