After reading the initial first few pages of this book, I knew I was going to be addicted to this book. I wasn't wrong, I needed this book 24/7.
It was so hard to not take out of this in the middle of work. It's been such a long time, since I read a standalone, with only 370 pages, that left me feeling like this.
All of the characters made the story enjoyable. Especially seeing it from two points of views. I need more from this world. I loved seeing how all of the kingdoms interact with one another, the ones on land and the ones under the sea.
I loved it how it wasn't focused on the romance of the two main characters too much. It was definitely more plot driven instead of allowing the romance to drive the story to go on.
