I’ve seen this book all over the book community; booktok, bookstagram, booktube, just everywhere. I thought I’d give it a go and just from the few pages in the first look I know that it’ll be a great read. The world building seems really well done and the writing style is really good. It’s pretty pleasant to read.
It seems based on the first few pages that our main character is probably going to end up falling in love with a prince that she’s supposed to capture the heart of. After all, it has been marketed as enemies to lovers on a LOT of platforms. I’ve heard good things about the romance in this book so I suspect as the book goes on it will only get better.
I tend to enjoy pirate and/or mermaid novels so this will probably be enjoyable. I think enemies to lovers can be good but only when done in a certain way. Since this book is so hyped up I suspect the romance will be good.
