It is no surprise that I found this book recommended a lot on social media. A lot of people recommended it to me, so I read it not once, but twice. Did I liked it or not ? It is really a difficult question. There is quiet a fews times in the book where I felt a little bored. The style of writing was good, really, it's what keep you hooked in the book. The plot is interesting, there's a lot of potential, but, in my opinion, I didn't really liked the two mains characters.
Like, alone, Lyra was good. And the prince alone with his crew was really well written too. I like them separated. But when the two characters are together ? I felt like.. I don't know, like it was "forced". I didn't really felt the connection between the characters. In fact, I rather like all the other characters than our two MC. BUT, I have to admit, I quite like the ending. For conclusion: It's a great book, perfect for passing time, but not THAT great either. That's why I put 3 stars. I would put 2,5 if I could.
