I could already tell that this was my type of book. When I opened the first look, the main character blew me away! She was obsessed with her siren roots and loyal to her tradition. You could tell she was passionate about her work in the way she spoke- with confidence and detail.
Even with only 32 pages, I was hooked. I knew this book was going to be bursting with plot twists and nasty surprises and I was ready to dive into it and absorb myself in such a fantasy world.
