To start off, the beginning was a little slow, I couldn’t get into it until at least the second half of the book. I am a big fan of folklore reenactments and mythical creature stories, and if you love those than you’ll love this book. But again I think the author could have pit more of a hook on the beginning. What got me to pick it up in the beginning was mainly the title, and I guess the cover because the cover is beautiful. There is also a lot of romance, if you’ve ever read the darkest part of the forest, this is pretty similar. The plot line is completely different but the writers had the same idea. So in retrospect The only thing I wish the author had done is give us an amazing first chapter. So I would be able to experience this book better. And I feel the best part is the character growth. You don’t see that in a lot of books. But Lira is such an amazing character. I loved this book and would recommend it to any bookworm out there.
