I got this book out of my local library and did not like it that much
I have read other retelling a and enjoy these much more, I did not like the writing style for this book and felt that because this book is seen so often on TikTok and instagram that people are reading this just because their favourite creators are reading it
I do not think I will be reading other books from this author in the future
Some parts I did like was the adventure aspect but I felt the characters could have had better Personalities and Been more fleshed out
There were so many metaphors used in this book and I felt this was a bit odd and I didn’t like the writing style
The prince was pretty annoying and I wish he had been written better, if I liked his character more indefinitely Would have enjoyed the plot a lot more
I read the physical copy so if I tried the audio I might have liked it more
