This was a very compelling story and had good worldbuilding but i would have liked something a little more.
Slow burn romance almost too slow and I normally like a slow burn but the banter more than made up for this the main thing i like about enemies to lovers is banter it makes it seem more passionate and gives it humor.
I don't think there is enough stories about sirens and was happy with the portrayal of them in this.
I liked almost all of the characters. In terms of plot i did see some of it coming but it kept me intrigued enough to read it in one day.
Pace was okay but i felt it was too fast in some areas i would have liked some slower moments but that is just a nitpick.
I liked that this was a standalone because it feels nicely wrapped up but because of that like i said it felt a little rushed.
I would recommend this to a friend because its a solid fantasy.
