I finished this just over a week ago, and I like it more now than when I finished it, is that a good or bad sign? I'm not used to this Genre, I have never read a book which has ever featured a pirate actually.
Enemies to lovers is my favourite trope though, and that's what I was promised going into this which led to pretty high expectations.
The characters didn't actually meet till halfway through & for two people who hate each other I felt like the tension wasn't quite there.
There was quite a few scenes I loved though, but won't spoil anything.
I think if I was to read this again in the future after maybe reading more of the genre, I'll have a higher opinion of it. I was just confused alot of the time to be honest. So if you're a fan of the genre and it sounds like something you usualky read, please go right ahead and do so! It was a great story, and well written.
