When you take little mermaid but make them sirens instead its an eventful turn, you have human and a siren seeking to destroy each others kind this takes the enemies to lovers to a new level. As Elian who loves the seas but hates the sirens trusts Lira who says she has an aid to help him deal with them but little does he know that she is one herself. The chemistry between these two is never ending and I had loved their relationship from start. Admittedly there were times that had made me want to scream at each of them as things were right infant of them but in the end it was a suiting conclusion to this book and a perfect standalone read for any reader.
I would recommend this to any reader who wants to enjoy a little bit of life under and above the seas, with a tad bit of romance and a crap ton of betrayal. The world building here is one of a kind as it requires two worlds to be built.
