I’ve read this book twice now—it’s just so good!
it’s a dark The Little Mermaid retelling following the main characters Lira and Elian. It’s enemies to lovers (we know we’re all suckers for this trope) with the added bonus of them attempting to kill eachother—Lira having earned the name “Prince’s Bane” and Prince Elian being being a siren killer. but they have greater enemies to overcome, and they must work together to defeat them.
I adore morally grey characters, and i can definitely say for certain that these two definitely hit the nail on the head.
The character’s personalities are all so well rounded as well, and aren’t just one dimensional.
