The first few chapters are very slow, it starts off by explaining the many legends and myth of the reality. The two main characters live very different lives but each aim for the same outcome. As the book continues, the writing becomes extremely more engaging. Personally, i finished the book in two settings. The character development is drastic. There is not a lot of spice but the relationship between the main characters is very slow.
Both Lisa and Elian are royalties of different kingdoms. The story is set with both pirates and princes and princesses. The author gives an all round amazing new story that I have yet to see be written by anyone else. To kill a kingdom is hands down one of my 10 ten books. I highly recommend if your looking for a fast paced, contemporary read. I would suggest that if your in a reading slumb that this be the next book you partake in reading.
