I didn't know I was obsessed with pirates and sirens until this book.
Before I start rambling about how amazing this book is can we just appreciate the cover, it just so beautiful I want to get a physical copy right away but also so perfectly matched to the aesthetic of the actual book.
Now for the actual book WOW! it was just so well written and thrilling that I can barely even explain how much I enjoyed it. It so well-paced I flew threw it and even more so entertaining that even if I wanted to I couldn't put it down. The plot was fresh and had the perfect dark fairytale twist to it so if you're an adult that's still a fan of Disney Princesses this one is for you.
Oh and the characters, Princess Lira was so cool she had me wanting to be her and I loved Elian equally as much, their relationship had me in squeals. Needless to say, I found the characters pretty lovable and the plot extremely entertaining.
It doesn't matter if you're not a fan of sirens and pirates read this and you will be by the time you hit 20%.
