This story became really popular in recent months/years and grew towards becoming extremely popular.
I like the authors approach to writing stories and can tell she has done them brilliantly for a time.
Characters aren't easy to create in your head, but as I read this m whole head turned into an underwater, then land scene. I could picture myself in the story. I was one of the boys she hurt. I was Lyra. I was the sea goddess. I had a front row seat to an amazing imagery that was solely created by me using the Authors words. Every scene was different and I loved the progression and the transformation the main character went on, overall this story was great.
