It is a classic enemies to lovers book, containing the dagger against throat scene. We have sirens and pirates. AND it is a the little mermaid retelling. Can it be much better?
This book took me to another place, I read it and I forgot that I was reading. I really enjoyed this book because it never got boring. Always a new turn.
Christos writing style is great for everyone. The language is not ti difficult for new english learners but at the same time it is not poorly written. It is two people point of view story. We have Lira and Elian. I like Lira, she is an independent strong woman but at the same time she can be kinda arrogant. Elian is more gentle. A teamplayer.
