The book was an easy read and I enjoyed the story line. I found the world building a little lacking at times and maybe because I’m older I found it on the younger side. But all in all I don’t regrets reading the book and would recommend it if anyone asked.
I found the characters storylines interesting and enjoyed that it is a darker version of Ariel. The two main characters are interesting and seem to have good chemistry. I always like a strong female character lead and this did not disappoint.
One failing of the book is the ending I found that it ended abruptly and I didn’t really understand fully the events that were happening towards the end. But maybe that is just me.
