so again with another book i had highhhh expectations for, which it did not meet which is such a shame! i really enjoyed the banter between Lira and Elias, and who can't go wrong with an enemies to lovers! by far my favourite trope. Elias and Lira not being the typical prince or princess was fun to read on.
i just think sirens and pirate plots and worlds are not for me, as i did not really find it interesting. the plot was predictable, and i found myself not really looking forward to anything.
i heard this book gets you out of a book slump because it is very short and face paced, but i felt like this book PUT me in a slump, which again, is a shame. i do not know if i am going to read any of the authors other works but i really hope to, as i actually enjoyed her writing style and had no problem with it.
