I’m a stickler for fantasy, especially when it involves sirens. The romance progressed amazingly, and the story line kept you on your toes. The enemies to lovers trope is my favourite, and I felt especially close to these characters. I really enjoyed it and I will definitely reread. It was a fun action packed short read, and I read it in a day. Alexandra Christi is my new favourite author and I will definitely read more from her. I couldn’t put this book down and I fell in love with the characters instantly. I loved the story line. The front cover is beautiful and the chapter art is amazing. I definitely recommend this to fans of Six of Crows and Acotar. This was just such a likeable book with amazing characters and an amazing storyline. It felt very when written and thought through. This is my new favourite book and I’m only sorry it’s a stand-alone.
