Thought I would read the book and be overwhelmed with love and excitement however was mediocre. Now I loved the plot and felt the characters where well written it was just missing something, I think the storyline often fell flat.
However I believe younger readers would love this book as it’s fast paced, captivating and thrilling. I loved the changing characters each chapter kept the book intriguing and the fact each chapter was short.
The little mermaid retelling in and new modern thrilling way. Get a mix of pirates and sirens like never before. The world building is truly wonderful and you meet some really fun characters.
Great for younger readers for summer, enemies to lovers romance that’s also mysterious. Loved the plot twist and sense of thrill that came with the book.
