This was an 'enemies to lovers' book and it was really great seeing the different points of views from the characters and seeing how Lira wanted to go about killing her Prince. I kind of wish this was a series and the characters received more character building as it all felt a bit rushed and more like a fever dream. The world building was indeed very easy to understand and it gave me pirates of the Caribbean vibes for sure. The prince being sharp and lira being sharper it was like watching two vipers constantly at each others throats. If you have spare time i do indeed recommend reading this but i wouldn't exactly set your standards too high. Don't get me wrong it was a fun read but i wouldn't read again anytime soon. I truly believe it had great potential if it had been a series and each of the characters were shown to have more development. That concludes my thoughts.
